Drop-in Bathtubs

Refreshment and enjoyment is the motive of bathing in a drop-in bathtub. However there are certain problems attached to a drop-in tubs. Entering a drop-in bathtub is easy but coming out of it is a problem. Moreover you need to take a high step when you come out. The problem of floor mounted bathtub is reduced by drop in bathtub which are deck mounted in a separate frame. However this requires extra carpentry and tile work. This can result in cost escalation. Some of the drop in bath tubs have integrated faucet designs. This integration simplify the faucet location. The faucets can also be wall mounted. Drop-in bathtubs can have additional features of spa jetted whirlpool systems or a combination of both, which is commonly known as whirlpool bathtub.

The cleaning of built-in tubs are easier until and unless they are installed in the corner. Cleaning should be done by mild disinfectant or household bleaching powder or detergents from time to time.
