Toilets are the most essential part of the bathroom. There can be no bathroom without toilets. Thats why manufacturers are coming with toilets which are unique in style and which function in a smooth manner. They are available in different materials. In case of malfunctioning it is necessary to get it repaired immediately.

The main parts of the toilets are a tank and a bowl. All the working parts are located in the tank. Different toilets have different tank configurations. Mechanism used in these toilets to accomplish the operation also differ from toilet to toilet. Every toilet has its own mechanism to flood the bowl with enough water to flush waste down the drain and then refill the tank and bowl with fresh water.

The smooth functioning of the toilet also depend on the proper drainage system. If their is blockage in the drain it can cause overflow. This can be easily cleared of with a plunger or toilet auger.

When the float arm does not rise high toilets start to run incessantly. This defect is due to the defective float arm that doesn't rise high enough. Due to this an inlet valve doesn't shut off. The float arm can be corrected to get rid of this problem.

If the toilets have defective inlet-valve assembly or if water is restricted by a shutoff valve that has been partly closed it, can result in a noisy high-pitched whine or whistle. If there is a broken link between the handle and trip lever or a tank stopper that closes before the tank empties, it can result in an inadequate flush. The lever can be joined with the handle for an adequate flush.
