Whirlpool tubs are expensive bathroom fixture and your life long
partner. Hence special care is needed to prevent the accumulation of
stains in them. Most importantly, this is also necessary for hygienic
bath. On a regular basis clean your tubs using mild detergent. The use
of abrasive cleaners like hard detergents and disinfectants should be
avoided.

Before cleaning
the whirlpool tubs make sure that you have adjusted the jets so that
there is no air induction. The tub should be filled with hot water
to a level above the highest jets. Low foaming dishwasher detergent
like Calgonite or Cascade and household bleach should be added to
water. After the addition start the whirl pool for few minutes. For
better results run the whirlpool with the air control fully open.
After the process is ended drain the tub and wipe it dry with soft
cloth or sponge. |

Precaution
Don't start the whirlpool if the water is below the highest
jet. In such a situation, the pump seal can be damaged that may
result in the pump failure or leakage. Also the use normal
detergent, disinfectant or soda do not give effective result.
